Description
Stacy Witbeck, an employee-owned company, seeks a communication enthusiast with strong writing skills and a firm grasp of media and messaging. You will work with a multitude of departments, under the supervision of our Communications Director, to bring stories to life. The person that will thrive in this role has the capacity and desire to understand the heartbeat of construction and the content development experience to engage across digital channels to communicate our on-brand messaging.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Curates content used for a variety of web, email, mobile, social media and other platforms.
Supports video content strategy by writing scripts, outlines, and captions, and coordinating production with freelance partners.
Researches, coordinates, edits, and integrates the work of writers and designers to produce layouts that meet established branding and style guidelines.
Organizes content in a way that makes sense/is most useful for target customers.
Stays up-to-date on best practices and make recommendations for content strategy.
Analyzes content needs and studies content consumption data to optimize content.
Identifies and tracks metrics to measure the success of content curation efforts.
Develops a schedule for updates, archiving, and ongoing production of content.
Gathers content from teams across the organization and coordinate development and distribution of the monthly external newsletter and semi-annual internal newsletter.
Supports website content enhancements and ongoing maintenance, ensuring all digital content is accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with SEO best practices.
Maintains organized digital asset libraries, documentation, and production files.
Tracks project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across content initiatives.
Supports performance tracking, reporting, and summaries for all digital content and communications.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in a relevant field required
Occasional travel is required
Writing Samples/Portfolio Submissions will be required if you are selected for preliminary interview
Demonstrated experience writing and editing content for digital channels.
Strong organizational and task coordination skills.
Knowledge of website CMS platforms and source code (HTML/CSS required; basic JavaScript preferred).
Preferences:
Familiarity with SEO and content performance analytics.
Experience in B2B/AEC/professional services industries.
Experience writing video storyboards and coordinating video production.
