Communications Coordinator

Overview Genesis10 is currently seeking a Communications Coordinator with a Financial Services Organization located in New York, NY. This is a 6 month contract opportunity. This position requires being onsite 3 days per week, typically Tuesday - Thursday. Pay range: $45.00-$50.00/Hr. W2 only This role will support a Global Communications & Marketing team by creating and managing content for both external and internal communications. The ideal candidate will assist with global communications projects, utilizing strong writing and editing skills and experience in digital content management within a fast-paced financial services environment. Responsibilities Write and stage articles, posts, and press releases for publication on the company website, intranet, and LinkedIn Manage and update website biography pages to ensure current and accurate information Support management of existing SharePoint pages Draft and edit leadership press packets and bios Oversee the Communications inbox, ensuring timely and effective responses to internal and external inquiries Assist with drafting internal communications, town hall invites, etc. Assist in communication projects, including key efforts to expand social media presence and upgrade digital experiences across the website and intranet Edit and proofread copy across articles and briefings Pull clips and transcripts from media monitoring tools to support reporting efforts Requirements Experience in digital content management systems Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in media monitoring tools Experience in the financial services industry highly preferred; strong understanding of financial concepts and terminology required Excellent organizational and communication skills Desired skills Background in Microsoft SharePoint, Sprout Social, Umbraco, and/or Adobe Experience Manager Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
