Position Overview
As a Kaiser Account Manager, you will play a key role in CME’s sales organization, working closely with the Director of Sales and the Kaiser team to manage and grow a defined book of business within the Kaiser Permanente health system. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and quoting new business opportunities, strengthening strategic relationships, and supporting the achievement of monthly and annual sales and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Management: Manage and grow opportunities with existing Kaiser accounts while prospecting and developing new business relationships across the Kaiser network.
Sales & Business Development: Meet monthly and annual sales/revenue targets by identifying and qualifying key decision makers and buying influencers. Lead and grow a defined book of business through strategic planning and proactive account management.
Value Creation: Create value beyond products and services in a way that differentiates CME from competitors and strengthens long‑term partnerships.
Proposal & Bidding Management: Manage bidding and quoting processes, develop compelling proposals, and build customized long‑term solutions based on client needs.
Industry Acumen: Maintain strong knowledge of product offerings and industry trends. Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturer sales representatives to position CME as a market leader.
Client Engagement & Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with the Director of Kaiser Sales and cross‑functional teams (operations, marketing, administration) to ensure timely communication, alignment, and seamless execution.
CRM & Reporting: Utilize Salesforce CRM and analytics tools to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, track activities, and prioritize efforts effectively.
Travel & Representation: Travel within assigned territory to meet clients and partners. Attend trade shows and company meetings as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant work experience considered.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in account management, sales, or similar role.
Prior acute care or healthcare sales experience preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
Ability to travel regularly within territory.

Compensation and Benefits:
The Company reasonably expects to pay a base draw in the range of $67,000–$91,000 annually. This range reflects the base draw only and does not include commissions or other incentive compensation. The draw is non‑recoverable during the initial training period. After training, the draw may be reconciled against future earned commissions in accordance with the Company’s Sales Incentive Plan.
This range represents the company’s good‑faith estimate of the base draw compensation that may be offered at the time of hire and is based on factors including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications, internal equity, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
This position is commission‑based and is eligible to participate in the company’s Sales Incentive Plan, with uncapped commission potential . Commissions are earned based on individual performance and sales results and are paid in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
Commissions are earned upon satisfaction of the applicable earning criteria as defined in the company’s Sales Incentive Plan and, once earned, will be paid in accordance with applicable state law. Participation in any bonus, commission, incentive, or benefit program—including eligibility, amount, timing, and terms—remains subject to company discretion and may be modified or discontinued prospectively, consistent with applicable law.
