Job Description: We are looking for a senior Account Executive, GovCon Solutions who will play a pivotal role in both: Driving revenue growth by selling Koop’s CMMC compliance and GRC platform solutions to government contractors, and Helping shape how Koop positions and delivers CMMC automation capabilities within the GovCon market. This is a high‑impact IC role with significant ownership of the sales cycle. You will directly manage strategic customer engagements while helping refine our go‑to‑market strategy for CMMC compliance and defense‑focused organizations. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership, you will: Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles for Aerospace & Defense and federal‑adjacent customers pursuing CMMC compliance Engage with security, compliance, and executive stakeholders to position Koop’s platform as the system of record for CMMC readiness and ongoing compliance Guide prospects through the business and operational value of automating NIST SP 800‑171 implementation, SSP development, POA&M management, gap assessments, and audit preparation Translate CMMC Level 1 and 2 requirements into compelling product value for technical and non‑technical buyers Build trusted relationships with CISOs, compliance leaders, founders, and federal program leaders within defense contractors and supply chain organizations Partner closely with Product to communicate customer needs and market insights related to CMMC workflows, control tracking, evidence collection, and reporting Collaborate with Marketing and Leadership on GovCon‑focused go‑to‑market initiatives, including webinars, thought leadership, and customer education Act as a trusted advisor to prospects navigating the evolving CMMC landscape Stay current with CMMC rulemaking, DoD guidance, and evolving assessment standards to effectively educate customers Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets while building a strong pipeline of qualified GovCon opportunities You will join a team of product builders, engineers, and compliance professionals building the pioneering GRC platform for the Defense Industrial Base in the U.S. Job Requirements: Strong experience selling cybersecurity, compliance, or GRC solutions into government contractors or defense‑adjacent organizations Familiarity with CMMC Level 1 and 2 and NIST SP 800‑171 requirements and the challenges organizations face achieving certification Understanding of DFARS 252.204‑7012 and related DoD cybersecurity requirements Experience navigating complex enterprise or regulated sales cycles with multiple stakeholders Ability to communicate technical and regulatory concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences Strong discovery, consultative selling, and solution positioning skills Founder mindset, strong ownership, and ability to operate in a fast‑paced startup environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, or compliance sales Prior experience selling into the defense industrial base (DIB), federal contractors, or regulated industries Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field Experience selling GRC, cybersecurity, or compliance automation platforms is strongly preferred Experience working with early‑stage or high‑growth companies is a strong plus Administrative: In‑person or hybrid role in New York City Competitive salary and generous equity Health, dental, and vision package Flexible time off and paid holidays Paid professional development (courses, certifications, conferences) Tremendous growth opportunity (professionally, personally, and financially) Why Koop Technologies?
