
Partnership Business Development Representative

Overview Spotlight is seeking a Business Development Representative to help grow our client and partner portfolio. They seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers, securing and supporting calls for sales leads, and nurturing prospects with purposeful persistence from first call to deal close.

Secure and support calls for sales leads
Nurture prospects with purposeful persistence from first call to deal close
Collaborate with sales leadership and internal SMEs throughout the sales cycle
Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), or equivalent client-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Proven background in B2B sales, ideally targeting the software or technology services industry
Prior experience with high-volume outbound prospecting (e.g., 75+ emails/messages per day)
A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly pipeline generation quotas
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing and tracking all sales activities and pipeline progress
Demonstrated experience using prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo (or similar data providers) for lead generation and account mapping
Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft) for executing sequenced, multi-channel outreach
Strong ability to leverage research and business intelligence to create highly personalized outreach messages
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical sales experience
Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in developing their sales career and a track record of achieving goals and success. Expected start date is Q1 2026.
