
Email Marketing Specialist

Love Advertising is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to join our Digital Experience workstream. This role supports the execution, testing, and optimization of email campaigns across a variety of Email Service Providers (ESPs), with ownership of marketing automation initiatives and customer journeys.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and brings a strong foundation in email marketing best practices. This role works closely with senior specialists, strategists, and creative partners to bring campaigns to life, ensure quality execution, and contribute insights that help improve performance and process, with opportunities to deepen expertise in advanced automation and journey strategy.
Key Responsibilities Email Execution & Optimization Build, test, and deploy responsive email campaigns across ESPs
Lead our email production team by owning hands-on development using modular templates
Implement personalization and dynamic content leveraging platform tools and capabilities
Identify and set best practices for accessibility, deliverability, and responsive design
Perform QA checks across devices and inboxes using tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid
Manage complex audience segmentation and campaign setups
Track, document, and analyze key email performance metrics
Compile performance summaries and contribute insights for internal and external teams
Collaboration & Problem Solving Partner with creative and account teams to support campaign execution and help shape strategic creative direction through channel-level expertise
Proactively identify issues, raise risks, and incorporate feedback to improve work quality
Support day-to-day requests in a fast-paced agency environment
Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in email marketing, email development, or related role(s)
Solid understanding of email marketing best practices concepts and campaign workflows and the ability to communicate effectively
Technical experience configuring and executing email campaigns across one or more ESPs
Familiarity with HTML and CSS as it pertains to email development
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to expanding technical expertise
Ability to manage tasks, deadlines, and feedback in a collaborative environment
Nice to Have Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or similar ESPs
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power-BI
Experience with MJML or modular email frameworks
Basic understanding of database languages and concepts like SQL
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Agency experience preferred but not required
