
Account Executive – Women’s Off-Price Dresses | Special Markets

A highly established women's apparel company with a legacy of delivering heritage brands is seeking a seasoned Account Executive to drive and expand its Women’s Off-Price Dress business.
This is not a maintenance role.
This is a revenue-driving seat.
We are looking for a strategic seller who understands volume, margin, inventory flow, and how to build profitable Special Market partnerships in a fast-moving wholesale environment.
What You’ll Own:
Grow and aggressively expand new and existing Special Market accounts
Identify whitespace opportunities and penetrate new channels
Drive order placement with a sharp focus on delivery cadence, inventory turnover, and fulfillment strategy
Analyze weekly sales performance and stock levels to influence in-season action
Manage open to buys and gross margin analysis with confidence and precision
Negotiate quarterly profitability and protect margin
Execute 6-month seasonal planning in partnership with retailers
Collaborate closely with Design and Production to align product buys with targeted markup and profit goals
Utilize reporting tools to manage bookings, shipping, and credit exposure
Travel to key accounts as needed
Who You Are:
5+ years selling to Special Market / Off-Price store accounts (women’s apparel required)
Strong command of retail math, margin strategy, and seasonal planning
Comfortable owning OTB conversations at the buyer level
A confident negotiator with strong presentation skills
Operationally sharp — able to track selling, monitor markdown risk, and pivot quickly
This is an opportunity for a driven seller who thrives in high-volume women’s dress and understands how to balance growth with disciplined profitability.
