Location: West Loop, Chicago, IL (Hybrid — 3 days/week in office ) About Attune Attune is a Chicago-based healthcare voice AI company building an intelligent platform that automates patient engagement at scale. Our agentic voice AI conducts health risk assessments, schedules appointments, manages prescription reminders, and handles post-procedure follow-ups. We help healthcare organizations improve patient outcomes while reducing operational burden — transforming how providers connect with their patients. About the Design Team You’ll join as the Product Designer , working in the product team and partnering closely with our Product Design Lead. You’ll have ownership and autonomy, while helping build a collaborative, transparent design culture across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations. This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape how AI-powered enterprise healthcare software is designed from the ground up. The Role We’re looking for a Product Designer with 3 years of experience who is excited to design complex, data-driven enterprise software and AI-powered workflows. You’ll be embedded within a core product team and will: Own the end-to-end design process from discovery through implementation Design data-heavy, analytics-driven interfaces and AI-enabled workflows Partner closely with PMs and engineers in an agile environment Contribute to and evolve our design system Help define how AI tools integrate into both our product and our internal design process This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants meaningful ownership over product decisions. What You’ll Do Translate complex data and AI workflows into intuitive, elegant experiences Create diagrams, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and design specs Design dashboards, analytics views, and operational interfaces Contribute to and maintain component-based design systems in Figma Partner closely with engineers to ensure implementation fidelity Conduct lightweight research, usability testing, and iteration Support Marketing with product visuals and launch assets when needed Contribute to accessibility and compliance-aware design (HIPAA considerations) You should be proficient and comfortable using AI tools in your design workflow, including tools such as: ChatGPT Lovable Figma AI features AI prototyping tools Prompt engineering for UX ideation Rapid interface exploration using AI copilots We are looking for someone who: Uses AI to accelerate research, ideation, and documentation Leverages AI for UX writing, copy refinement, and edge-case exploration Is curious about designing AI-powered interfaces and conversational systems Thinks critically about human-in-the-loop AI design Must-Haves 3 years of product design experience Experience leading end-to-end product design work Experience designing data-heavy, dashboard, or analytics products Strong systems thinking and interaction design skills Proficiency in Figma Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills — able to clearly articulate design rationale Experience collaborating cross-functionally in agile environments Comfort working in ambiguity and shaping early product direction Nice-to-Haves Healthcare or compliance-driven industry experience Experience contributing to or building design systems Startup experience Accessibility knowledge (WCAG) Familiarity with HIPAA constraints in UX Our Values Attune is committed to a culture of teamwork; where everyone works together to plan, do, learn, and continuously improve.
