Overview
The Account Executive is responsible for creating, growing, and managing an account base for 24/7 Express Logistics' freight brokerage business. In this role your main responsibility will be to identify and initiate sales efforts to generate revenue and profitability. You will be tasked with developing and executing a field sales business plan that will achieve the corporate revenue goals. To be successful, this position will leverage their past progressive experience in 3PL Sales and/or transportation industries.
Responsibilities
Directly identify and initiate new 3PL business opportunities
Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota as defined by the company
Work closely with home office staff to ensure customers’ needs and expectations are met
Manage sales pipeline and monthly target reports
Present an array of logistics solutions that enable numerous entry points into accounts
Conduct business in a professional manner
Positively represent and promote the image of 24/7 Express Logistics
Providing coaching/mentorship to team members where applicable
Qualifications
2+ years of 3PL or Brokerage, full truckload sales experience
Ability to talk through previous sales achievements including revenue and margin numbers
Experience with prospecting and cold calling
High energy, high engagement, high trust team player
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Ability to work independently, high level of self-motivation
Desire to grow and learn
Proficiency navigating CRM, TMS, and MS Office applications
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports
Ability to conduct professional business correspondence
After hours or weekend work as required by customer demands
Ability to learn new software and computer systems
Demonstrates the ability to connect with others on a personal level and be transparent with teammates, customers, and leaders
Travel periodically, as needed by customer or company
OTE Range: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 with uncapped commissions. Base salary is determined by experience.
