We are a boutique M&A advisory firm specializing in proprietary deal sourcing for private equity firms and strategic acquirers. We act as an extension of our clients’ investment teams, combining deep industry research, engagement strategies, and systematic communication to identify high-quality acquisition opportunities before they hit the market. We operate with the urgency and accountability of a private equity investment team.

The Role
You’ll be a core member of the deal sourcing team, responsible for building pipelines, engaging with business owners, qualifying acquisition opportunities, and delivering actionable deals to institutional investors. This role blends research, strategic outreach, and real-time conversion. You’ll receive in-depth training on the PE ecosystem, our proprietary sourcing methodology, and executive-level communication strategies. While prior M&A experience is not required - intellectual curiosity, coachability, and strong execution are.

What You’ll Do

Execute multi-channel outreach to founders, business owners, and C-level executives (email, phone, etc.)

Screen and qualify acquisition targets against client investment criteria

Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline aligned with defined investment theses

Write concise executive summaries / opportunity briefs for clients

Host calls and virtual meetings between sellers and buyers

Manage daily outreach activity, follow-ups, and pipeline progression within the CRM

Collaborate with leadership on outreach strategy, messaging, and process improvement

Consistently generating conversations that convert to qualified actionable deal flow

Building professional credibility with business owners and C-suite executives

Advancing opportunities through M&A pipeline stages

Maintaining a highly organized, disciplined pipeline and follow-up system

Who You Are

1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, consulting, or a related field

Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related discipline

Track record of exceeding targets or performance metrics

Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging directly with executives

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Based in the Phoenix metro area and able to work in-office

Bonus Points

Exposure to private equity, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development

Familiarity with financial statements and valuation concepts

Experience with research tools
