Summary
We are looking for a passionate and collaborative Senior UX Designer to help create the next generation of eBay design. This role requires a highly skilled designer with a proven track record in crafting exceptional user experiences within e-commerce platforms and financial product environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in visual design, storytelling, and a deep understanding of user behavior and interaction design principles.
Responsibilities
Practice and promote user-centric thinking in your design work.
Lead and drive design from problem definition to final execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, software engineers, researchers, and content designers.
Understand business goals and challenge its requirements.
Use data (quantitative and qualitative) to develop your design and support your design decisions.
Create strategic ideas, user scenarios, journey maps, wireframes, lo-fi/hi-fi designs, and prototypes throughout the full cycle of the product development process.
Work closely with the design system team to align with the latest design guidelines and contribute to its evolution.
Qualifications
8-10 years of hands‑on UI/UX design experience in web and mobile apps.
Experience driving design and user‑experience for end‑to‑end projects.
Proven experience (8 years) working as a UX designer, preferably in the e‑commerce and financial services industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects with a focus on e‑commerce platforms and financial products.
Strong understanding of the user‑centered design process. Experience working in an agile‑based environment is a plus.
Hands‑on experience of concepting and visualizing experiences through storyboarding, scenarios, task flows, and prototypes at all levels of fidelity.
Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity and change during a project.
Fluency in the latest product design trends, tools, and technology cross‑platform.
Highly proficient in design, prototyping in software such as Figma.

Pay Transparency
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $60.85 - $60.85/hour . Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full‑time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
