SUMMARY The Account Executive drives our company to find new customers, retain current customers, and develop innovative solutions for bettering our product and service. You will play a crucial role in establishing relationships and marketing our company’s brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional. The work you do on the phone is directly linked to successful outcomes resulting from customer retention and word-of-mouth sales. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for scheduling incoming showroom appointments from online inquiries, customer service calls and referrals in timely manner (within 24 hours)
Responsible for greeting clients who come to the showroom in a courteous and timely manner. This includes scheduled and non-scheduled appointments
Utilize showroom calendar to schedule client appointments during available times to provide luxury experience for clients with individualized service
Responsible for delivering the highest quality of service to existing and new clients by understanding their needs, active listening, engagement and follow up
Conduct discovery with clients requesting showroom appointments and phone meetings. Include client notes on showroom appointment invitations (Outlook) and Acumatica
Responsible for maintaining and growing sales revenue for assigned book of clients through client meetings, design assistance and follow up on sales process
Responsible for maintaining professional demeanor to include proper dress code at all times
Accountable for KPI requirements on daily, weekly and monthly basis, specific to client meetings and revenue goals. Must perform 10 client meetings weekly, 40 client meetings monthly and 120 meetings quarterly to achieve assigned revenue goals
Maintain and expand client database with 4 prospect meetings per week, 16 meetings per month
Responsible for proper maintenance of showroom to include tidiness, cleanliness and organization
Adherence to professional standards of communication, both verbal and written, with internal and external parties
Adherence to office hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM with one hour lunch break. Any exceptions to this schedule to be requested and approved by Director
Responsible for fostering a team environment in the showroom, focused on professional behavior when communicating with colleagues and Director
Ability to solve issues in a professional, positive manner
Team player with focus on assisting colleagues where needed with client requests
Responsible for partnering with assigned Customer Service partner to ensure prompt communication and follow up
Responsible for follow up on swatch requests and quotes in timely manner
REQUIREMENTS 3-5 years of sales experience
Proven track record at account management and achieving sales metrics year over year
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent time and project management skills
Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
Available to travel to see clients every 6-8 weeks
