Summary of Role
Manage your own book of business, providing quality service and cross‑sell opportunities within the existing portfolio. The Account Manager serves as the day‑to‑day liaison between NFP and designated middle‑market accounts. Primary duties include contract analysis, coverage and exposure evaluation, endorsement activity, renewal control, quote preparation, binding, and claim reporting.
Job Duties
Build and maintain constructive client relationships.
Provide timely, accurate communication.
Resolve service issues and questions.
Assist clients with coverage changes and identify marketing opportunities.
Inform clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures; document electronically.
Produce binders, certificates, policies and related documents accurately.
Monitor client satisfaction.
Document all client communication electronically.
Review policies and offer alternative renewal options.
Develop renewal materials.
Follow agency procedures and system usage.
Pursue professional development, continuing education and designations.
Adhere to state insurance licensing and educational requirements.
Complete additional tasks as directed by management.
Job Goals
Deliver prompt, accurate, courteous service everywhere.
Increase revenue through account rounding.
Develop relationships that lead to new business sales.
Job Specifications/Requirements
Property and casualty insurance license upon hire.
At least 2 years of commercial or personal lines experience.
Understanding of underwriting, coverage and rate analysis.
In‑depth knowledge of insurance coverages with clear communication.
Knowledge of coastal placements and market trends.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and self‑manage workload.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
EPIC experience preferred; other agency systems acceptable with on‑site training if remote.

This is a full‑time position, ideally working hybrid from our Summersville, WV or Palm Beach Gardens, FL office. Remote option considered for experienced commercial lines candidates with coastal placements.
