Associate Director for Communications & Operations The Associate Director for Communications and Operations will develop and lead strategic communication strategies aimed at prospective students and parents to support ASEM enrollment goals. This role collaborates closely with Admissions and Recruitment teams, On‑campus Events, and Academic Service units and is responsible for generating awareness of the University of Nebraska and converting prospects into students. Key responsibilities include: Managing day‑to‑day operations and a communications team that delivers email campaigns, SMS, and print content within tight deadlines. Proofreading, reviewing, and adjusting campaign content to support ongoing recruitment requests and evolving funnel goals throughout the student cycle. Measuring and continuously evolving communication strategies to achieve recruitment targets. See for details. Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience translating marketing communication fundamentals into strategic execution in support of business goals. Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions related to marketing communication goals. Experience building relationships across an organization in service of communication goals, especially with non‑communication professionals. Experience being accountable for marketing communication goals. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications 7 years of progressive leadership in communications. Experience supervising marketing or communication staff. Experience contributing to communication strategy within a mid‑to‑large‑sized organization. Experience with marketing communication research. Employment Information Location: Lincoln, NE Job Type: Full‑Time Salary: $60,000/yr. minimum Pre‑Placement Driving Record Review: No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
