As an Account Manager, you represent the focal point of a respected metrology brand with highly differentiated products. In this role you will leverage your established business acumen and strategic sales expertise to consult with major accounts and drive long‑term growth across a diverse portfolio of FARO Creaform solutions. You will be focused on the long-term account management of top-tier customers and strategically drive increased sales over short-term opportunities by cooperating with internal and external partners. Your covered business portfolio will contain all FARO Creaform solutions including hardware systems, SW platforms, and automated solutions.
Our Account Manager works out of a home office and will ideally be based around Phoenix area. This position has the potential to earn a total compensation package (salary + variable) between $130,000-$160,000.
How you will make a difference @ FARO CREAFORM:
DemonstrateCreaformtechnology to interested and / or potential customers;
Participation to trade shows, technical events, open-house, salesmeetingsand other sales events;
Ensure steady and organized follow-up on sales opportunities through emails, phone calls, etc. to ensure the expected level of sales and a sales cycle as compact as possibleby using the CRM system;
Clearlyidentifyand communicate all customer needs and specificationsin order forthe ISS to prepare the quote;
Act as point of contact and provide technical support and regular follow-ups to potential customers during the evaluation period;
Report progress of all ongoing sales activities on a weekly basis during team opportunity-review, provide salesforecastandparticipateto forecast review meetings;
Develop a large network of contacts and clients within the designated territory in teamwork with the Strategic Account Manager and the Sales Manager;
Professional management of existing customers over the entire product life cycle including the identification of further business opportunities
Protect the profit margins ofCreaformby addingvalue;rather than discounting and by organizing efficient travel.
You have:
Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field.
1-5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technological environment.
Have a strong interest for high technology and towards learning about technological products.
Have experience in a technical field, sales and/or customer support.
Valid US Drivers license.
A frequent weightlifting of 90 lbs or more is required.
