Position Overview
Colibri Group is looking for a smart, driven, and passionate B2B Marketing Manager to join our team! This individual will be responsible for our B2B GTM strategy for our Financial Services ecosystem. This role will set the standard for our B2B strategy, create and implement strategic multi-channel campaigns targeted at growing revenue, customer engagement, lead generation, retention and market share.
This individual should have a curious nature about them, thrive in an environment where multi-tasking is second nature, and possess a strong analytical skill set that allows for them to keep an eye on the marketplace to build strategies that target customers.
This candidate should possess a deep understanding of our value proposition, unique selling proposition, key messages, target audiences, personas, and influencers. Ability to define key audiences, develop strong messaging for different channels and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion will be key to achieving success in this role.
Position Requirements & Major Responsibilities
Work closely with Product Marketing to develop, execute and lead the B2B marketing GTM strategy targeting
Create and implement strategic multi-channel campaigns targeted at growing revenue, customer engagement, lead generation, retention and market share
Build and run a world-class content program that inspires, informs, and deepens engagement prospects and customers across Financial Services
Dotted line with B2B Marketing Specialist to manage events and campaigns
Work with Shared Services team to produce highly engaged GTM campaigns / Drive the marketing planning, define key audiences and develop strong messaging for different channels
Oversee and execute conference strategy and event planning for Financial Services ecosystem
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company (specifically the B2B Sales and CSM team) to approach challenges collaboratively and align activities to achieve desired results
Define, track and measure results and make recommended adjustments as needed with partnering with Marketing Operations
Manage event/conference vendors to ensure properly delivering of promotional and tradeshow booth
Lead and leverage presence at conferences/events (sponsorship, speaking engagements, advertisements, booth signage)
Develop targeted pre and post campaigns around events and conferences
Build and execute our digital content strategy to support our marketing initiatives and campaigns
Create and manage a content calendar for each of the brands in Financial Services
Partner closely with product marketing team around demand generation to define content themes and determine the appropriate mix of top, middle, and bottom of funnel content.
Develop a deep understanding of our value proposition, unique selling proposition, key messages, target audiences, personas, and influencers.
Partner with subject matter experts to develop content in a variety of formats including blog posts and articles, eBooks, infographics, videos, etc.
Produce B2B ads and landing page content that attract qualified traffic and convert into action. This would include CTA’s, headlines, and taglines that will help achieve content objectives.
Measure and report on content performance; optimize based on results.
Qualifications
5+ years of B2B content marketing experience, and/or 5+ years of marketing experience
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or similar field
Strong track record of defining and executing highly effective content marketing programs in an omni-channel environment.
Proven ability to translate brand personality and product capabilities into content assets that engage customers and increase lead generation and conversion rates.
Exceptional storyteller, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with defining content metrics and measuring content effectiveness.
Strong event management skill set / Working with external vendors
Proven track record executing a growth strategy and driving measurable results
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects from concept through execution
Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and be a champion for the customer
Demonstrate Solution Marketing experience and a track record in branding, positioning, value proposition development and messaging and the ability to size and analyze markets
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a private equity-backed business and adapt to rapidly-changing business needs
Effective time management skills and prioritization and attention to detail
Professional and proactive work ethic
Strong communication and writing skills and ability to work across business lines, presenting to executive leadership and at different levels of management
