Marketing Communications Coordinator
National Agents Alliance - The Alliance, Burlington, NC, United States
The Marketing Communications Coordinator is a high-impact role responsible for crafting clear, compelling, and strategic messaging across the organization. This position plays a critical role in how we communicate with our agents—promoting contests, trips, books, resources, and internal initiatives—while also helping shape how those messages drive action.
This is not a pure writing role. We are looking for someone who understands marketing strategy, audience behavior, and how words convert—not just someone who can write well.
In addition to communications, this role will support larger creative projects such as training manuals, books, and print resources, helping edit, organize, and improve materials that are distributed at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Write and coordinate internal/external communications
Ensure all messaging is clear, on‑brand, and aligned with marketing goals
Adapt tone and messaging based on audience, purpose, and platform
Collaborate with leadership and departments to translate ideas into effective written communication
Apply marketing thinking to all written content (calls to action, positioning, clarity, urgency)
Support general marketing initiatives when large writing projects are not in progress
Help brainstorm and develop new ways to package and present resources for agents
Contribute creative ideas for training manuals, tools, and educational materials
Assist with editing and refining books, manuals, and large print projects
Coordinate revisions and updates to long‑form resources
Work with designers and vendors on print‑ready materials
Required Qualifications
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Ability to think strategically about messaging and outcomes
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Creative mindset with a willingness to bring new ideas to the table
Comfortable working collaboratively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with marketing communications and internal communications
Familiarity with print projects, books, or training materials
Basic understanding of print production, file sizing, or layout workflows
Experience in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Who We're Looking For
A writer who thinks like a marketer
Someone who understands that words are tools to drive behavior, not just sound good
A creative problem‑solver who can help evolve how we communicate and educate our agents
Someone who can shift between big‑picture marketing thinking and detailed execution
