Position: Business Development SpecialistLocation: Houston, TXJob Id: 1147of Openings: 1Business Development Specialist (Remote)A Business Development Specialist works within the Business Development Department to support the identification of prospective customers and generation of new business opportunities for DMCR.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESMaintaining a working knowledge of current FDA regulations, GCP/ICH guidelines, organizational SOPs, guidance documents, and study protocols.Gain knowledge about the company's products and/or services, competition and industry trendsFinding and applying for new clinical research studies through the generation, follow-up and execution of leadsIdentify potential customers or clients through networking or research, contacting them to introduce DMCRDevelop and maintain customer/client relationships to ensure product satisfactionCompleting feasibility questionnaires, and interacting with the sponsor and CRO during the site selection processCreate presentation and/or sales pitch for prospective customers/clientsConduct sales calls to prospective clients to determine their needs and interests and how DMCR can accommodateManage leads through the DMCR pipeline and track progress with CRMCollaborate with other Business-focused departments and cross-functional teams/tasks within DMCRSupport senior staff on outward facing strategies and lead generation effortsOther duties assigned by management teamKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEEducation:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields, requiredMasters degree in above mentioned fields, preferredExperience:1+ years years of Clinical Research experience, preferred2+ years in Business related field2+ years in Sales2+ years in a Customer Service environment2+ years utilizing a CRMCredentials:DMCR-required training, including GCP and IATAKnowledge and Skills:Ability to create, build and maintain internal and external relationshipsAbility to navigate through complex situationsFlawless communication skills, both written and verbalStrong time-management and organization skillsAbility to be flexible and adaptable to needs of the companyDesire to grow in salesAbility to work under pressureAbility to understand role as part of a larger pictureStrong business senseExcellent presentation and public speaking skillsJ-18808-Ljbffr
