We specialize in video surveillance, access control, AI‑enabled systems, and structured cabling—designing and delivering secure environments for commercial, industrial, and public sector clients. We’re expanding our team and looking for a results‑driven Account Executive to drive growth and deliver tailored security solutions to new and existing clients. What You’ll Do As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building long‑term relationships, and delivering technology solutions that address real‑world security challenges. Key Responsibilities Generate new business by identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and presenting customized security solutions Serve as a trusted advisor on technologies including access control, video surveillance, AI, and integration platforms Conduct site visits, scope work, estimate costs, and develop proposals Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and subcontractors to create technical and financial proposals Present installation quotes, service agreements, and scopes of work to clients Coordinate closely with project managers and technicians during the installation phase Maintain client relationships with ongoing communication and support Actively build your network through outreach, events, and referrals Track sales pipeline and activities using CRM tools and report to leadership Consistently meet or exceed sales and gross margin targets What We’re Looking For We value professionals who combine consultative selling with technical curiosity and a desire to solve customer problems. Required Qualifications 3+ years of B2B sales experience (field, inside sales, or technical sales) Background in technology sales, preferably in enterprise IT, physical security, AV, or building automation Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Experience managing complex sales cycles and cross‑functional collaboration Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales documentation tools Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience Self‑starter with a strong drive to achieve goals Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of access control, video surveillance, IP networking, or security systems Familiarity with brands like Milestone, Lenel, S2, Axis, Brivo, or Avigilon Experience in systems integration or selling to commercial/industrial clients Why Join Adirondack?
