The Account Manager drives customer success by building and maintaining relationships with a defined portfolio of OEM customer accounts. This role focuses on account retention and revenue growth, collaborating seamlessly with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and solution delivery. The Account Manager leverages ei3's tools to address customer needs and achieve sales targets from initial order onwards. The overarching objectives include achieving sales milestones, exceeding growth targets, and offering crucial business understanding and support to their customers. This position reports to the CEO.
What you’ll do
Manage and grow relationships with assigned OEM customers, serving as their primary point of contact while driving business growth and retention
Execute day-to-day account management activities including regular customer communications, issue resolution, and opportunity identification
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of ei3's product portfolio to effectively position solutions and identify expansion opportunities
Strong program management skills, including planning, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing deliverables, and ensuring programs meet customer objectives and business goals
Support contract documentation, including creation and updates of Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and negotiations and renewals within established parameters
Follow established account management processes and maintain accurate customer information in CRM systems (currently Hubspot)
Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Success, Support, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams) to resolve customer issues and deliver solutions
Prepare and present standardized portfolio performance reports to senior leadership, analyzing account progress, performance metrics, quotas and goals on a monthly/quarterly basis. Include trend analysis and strategic recommendations.
Execute account plans to meet revenue targets, including regular customer touchpoints and quarterly business reviews
Support the Senior Leadership in strategic initiatives and process improvements
Travel to customer sites as needed to strengthen relationships
Participate in industry events and trade shows to represent ei3
About you
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3 years proven work experience in a similar role; software industry and/or industrial manufacturing experience is a plus.
Intellectual curiosity and aptitude for learning and growing with an organization.
Strong relationship building skills with proven ability to maintain customer satisfaction with a focus on solutions and meeting customer needs
Experience with sales processes and account management fundamentals
Effective communicator with solid presentation skills
Ability to juggle multiple accounts at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Proficient in analyzing account data and creating performance reports
Familiarity with industrial automation, IoT, or manufacturing technology a plus
Experience with contract renewals and scope negotiations
Strong computer skills including CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite, and project management tools
Self-motivated with ability to work independently while supporting team goals
