Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to join our client's Business Management team. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to advance their career in financial services, working with sophisticated clients and utilizing cutting-edge financial software. You\'ll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting senior Account Managers in delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and client confidentiality are paramount.
Key Responsibilities Maintain comprehensive Accounts Payable processes using AgilLink software
Set up new vendors, obtain banking details, and collect necessary tax forms
Enter and process client credit card statements through specialized modules
Record cash receipts and ensure accurate transaction posting
Book client payroll entries as directed by senior team members
Client Support & Administration Support Account Managers with client vendor management tasks (telephone setup, billing coordination)
Perform journal entry posting and bank statement reconciliation
Prepare monthly financial packages including various reports and statements
Run and review monthly Trial Balance reports for Account Manager review
Maintain electronic filing systems and document management
Quality Assurance & Reporting Ensure accuracy of all financial transactions and client records
Upload and organize client documents in digital filing systems
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Support busy season activities with minimal overtime as needed
Handle additional related duties to support team objectives
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
2+ years of related experience in business management or the accounting field preferred
Entry-level candidates with strong aptitude and relevant coursework will be considered
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level)
Experience with Datafaction and AgilLink software highly preferred
Comfort learning new financial software platforms
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy
