
Specialist, Local Marketing

The Local Marketing Specialist will drive foot traffic to Build‑A‑Bear’s corporate locations by developing, implementing, and evaluating local and mall marketing initiatives. Additionally, this role leads marketing efforts for store grand openings, remodels, and closures, playing a critical part in achieving corporate expansion goals.
Responsibilities Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless marketing integration for pop-ups, seasonal, and new store openings
Execute a comprehensive marketing plan to drive brand awareness
Coordinate with mall marketing contacts
Coordinate new store opening signage kits
In partnership with the field, collaborate with high-volume and tourist locations to ensure visibility
Support the field team with local marketing requests
Support and coordinate with the Experiential Marketing team to amplify local window displays and signage
Required Qualifications 1‑2 years of Marketing event planning, grand openings, tourism marketing, or advertising
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of Marketing event planning, grand openings, tourism marketing, or advertising

15% domestic travel
