Description The Local Marketing Specialist will drive foot traffic to Build-A-Bear’s corporate locations by developing, implementing, and evaluating local and mall marketing initiatives. Additionally, this role leads marketing efforts for store grand openings, remodels, and closures, playing a critical part in achieving corporate expansion goals. Responsibilities Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless marketing integration for pop-ups, seasonal, and new store openings Execute a comprehensive marketing plan to drive brand awareness Coordinate with mall marketing contacts Coordinate new store opening signage kits In partnership with the field, collaborate with high-volume and tourist locations to ensure visibility Support the field team with local marketing requests Support and coordinate with the Experiential Marketing team to amplify local window displays and signage Required Qualifications 1-2 years of Marketing event planning, grand openings, tourism marketing, or advertising Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Project Management experience 3+ years of Marketing event planning, grand openings, tourism marketing, or advertising Behavioral Traits For Success Enjoys being recognized for the quality of their work Willingness to work within established standards, guidelines, and procedures Develops strong job knowledge and competency Strong commitment to tasks being completed correctly and on time Thrives in a structured environment Happy accomplishing work as an individual Can work harmoniously with others Communication is factual, polite, and professional Working Environment Typical office environment with climate control and sufficient lighting, ergonomic desk/chairs Hybrid work schedule Corporate Office located in St. Louis, MO 15% domestic travel Your Performance Will Be Measured On Decision-making, judgment, and execution Deadlines, accuracy, and quality Communication Collaboration and coordination Marketing results Responsiveness #J-18808-Ljbffr
