About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Business Development for Mechanical/HVAC. This senior, high-impact individual contributor role is dedicated to driving the enterprise adoption of an AI-powered takeoff and estimating platform within the mechanical and HVAC contractor space. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of enterprise sales, engaging with senior stakeholders, and building strong, consultative relationships. Key responsibilities include owning and leading complex sales cycles, building ROI-driven business cases, and driving both early traction and long-term expansion within enterprise accounts. The role also demands a deep understanding of mechanical and HVAC estimating and preconstruction workflows, as well as the ability to influence product strategy and serve as a trusted advisor to large subcontractors. Applicants for this role should have 8-10 years' of experience in mechanical and HVAC estimating leadership, enterprise sales, or consulting roles within the industry. A proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders, strong executive presence, and the ability to operate across both product strategy and revenue generation are essential. The Head of Business Development will be expected to partner closely with product and AI teams, provide structured customer feedback, and represent the platform at various industry events. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in AI-driven estimating and preconstruction workflows, with a focus on value-based selling and ROI-driven narratives. The role requires a willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events and a passion for modernizing estimating workflows within the mechanical and HVAC contractor ecosystem.
