Robert Half's client is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to plan, produce, and manage engaging content across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, understands social trends, and knows how to build and grow brand presence online.


Social Media Specialist

Schedule: Hybrid, onsite 3 days/week

Hours: 37.5–40 hours/week

Duration: Ongoing contract with potential for extension or transition to full-time


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan, create, and manage high‑quality content across all social platforms
  • Build and execute content calendars and campaign concepts
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and content teams
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and deliver actionable insights
  • Optimize campaigns based on data and platform trends
  • Maintain strong community management and platform engagement

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of social media marketing experience managing brand accounts
  • Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, and emerging platforms
  • Proficiency with content management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, native analytics, etc.)
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, CapCut)
  • Deep knowledge of platform algorithms, trends, and best practices
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment


The hourly range for this position is $22-$25/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
