Principal Account Executive

Lazorpoint, Cleveland, OH, United States

Company Overview

For 30 years, Lazorpoint has established itself as a premier IT services firm, best known for partnering with high-growth, acquisitive middle market businesses and leading technology functions through complex M&A activity. Lazorpoint’s extensive expertise sets us apart, as our engineering competencies, cybersecurity services, and solutions are tailored for private equity firms, publicly traded entities, and holding companies investing in manufacturing, commercial services, and professional service organizations—including the advisors and operators leading these sectors.

In 2022, Lazorpoint doubled down on the strategy to lead this market segment by transitioning from a founder-led organization to partnering with Lyra Technology Group as our equity partner. Lyra, backed by Alpine Investors, is known for its innovative “hold forever” business model and decentralized operations. Unlike the traditional buy-and-sell private equity model, Lyra is centered on permanent capital, a people-first philosophy, and independent leadership. Over the last four years, this approach has provided Lazorpoint with the capital, community, and global support needed to take our culture and identity to the next level. Today, Lyra has grown into the world’s largest technology services platform, opening up new opportunities for both Lazorpoint and our client portfolio, which now extends to five continents.

As for Lazorpoint? We now service three publicly traded companies, leads IT strategy for more than ten private equity firms and holding companies, and manage IT functions for over 30 operating companies. Our continued growth, fueled by our partnership with Lyra Technology Group, positions us to enter new markets, drive innovation, and deliver even greater value to our clients.

This starts with our people. We are seeking a dynamic Principal Account Executive to take our PE practice to the next level, help manage key PE relationships and expand Lazorpoint’s presence in the private equity sector. If you’re motivated and committed to providing technology services that drive operational excellence and growth, this role could be a great fit.
