Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wholesale Account Executive to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role. The role will focus on managing and growing our department store business, while also supporting and selling into a portion of our specialty store accounts, with a strong emphasis on expanding key major retail partnerships. This role reports to the Director of Sales and works closely with the Sales Assistant and internal teams.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Manage and develop relationships with department store accounts, acting as the primary point of contact
  • Support and grow a portion of specialty store accounts alongside Majors, with a focus on driving overall wholesale business
  • Ensure all orders are submitted to production accurately and in a timely manner
  • Generate and maintain all materials accounts need to process orders (including UPCs and EDI requirements)
  • Prepare all necessary materials for market appointments
  • Analyze and present weekly selling recaps to the Director of Sales, identifying opportunities and risks
  • Manage photo sample requests and product specifications for online partners
  • Proactively communicate with accounts regarding product updates, deliveries, and opportunities
  • Handle all special orders and customer requests from buying offices and individual stores
  • Act as liaison between accounts and in-house production team, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met
  • Partner with production and internal teams to track orders, shipping timelines, and resolve issues
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and training to buyers and sales associates
  • Identify opportunities to drive sales and expand the business within existing accounts
  • Travel to stores to support merchandising, build relationships, and support sales teams


Skills and Requirements:

  • Must have experience in the fine jewelry industry and working with department store accounts
  • Proven ability to manage and grow wholesale or major retail accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building and client management skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Ability to think quickly, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence in presenting product and sales strategies in a compelling way
  • Strong understanding of retail math and sales analysis
  • Ability to balance creative, analytical, and administrative responsibilities
  • Strong team player with consistent follow-through
  • Strong visual merchandising sensibility
  • High level of proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
