Title: Account Director / Client Partner

Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

A fast-growing digital transformation and growth consultancy is seeking an Account Director / Client Partner to lead key client relationships and drive measurable business impact. This is a high-visibility role within a lean, entrepreneurial environment where strategy and execution go hand in hand.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner across a portfolio of client accounts
  • Build deep understanding of client business models, growth drivers, and challenges
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing and digital strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with media, creative, analytics, and technology teams
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality work tied to measurable outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and overall impact
  • Collaborate with project management to align scope, resourcing, and execution
  • Drive account growth through identifying and expanding opportunities
  • Oversee financial performance including scoping, margins, and P&L awareness
  • Mentor and support development of junior team members


What You Bring

  • 8–10+ years of experience in account management, client services, or similar roles
  • Background in digital marketing, performance marketing, or integrated marketing
  • Proven experience owning and growing mid-sized client accounts
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
  • Strong communication skills across client stakeholders and internal teams
  • Comfort working in lean, fast-paced, high-autonomy environments


Nice to Have

  • Experience within small to mid-sized agencies or high-growth organizations
  • Exposure to demand generation, digital transformation, or performance marketing
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore teams
  • Comfort in environments with less structure and more ownership

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $150,000+. This position includes Benefits available to full-time professionals, include medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, 401(k), etc..
