Worcester, MA - Peer Recovery Program
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with occasional Saturdays
Pay rate:
$18.00-$19.00/hour

The
Community Engagement Specialist
is responsible for
Educating the public about addiction and the multiple pathways to Recovery, recruiting participants, and networking with community-based organizations in collaboration with peer volunteers.
Assisting Young Adults on their pathway to Recovery/or help maintain a strong Recovery.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
One year of experience in a substance abuse program preferred
Be familiar with local recovery community.
CARC certification preferred
Experience providing harm minimization advice and information that reduces the potential negative impact on individuals and communities
Experience with the provision of support that is structured, focused and time-limited to the point of entry with clients waiting to access appropriate treatment /support services generated from contacts with the street population
Must have valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
