Day-to-day engagement:
Restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department using a mobile device provided by Hallmark. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and participate in required merchandising surveys. Maintain professional, courteous interactions with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. Holiday support:
Support seasonal demand around holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). Expect additional days and extended hours; you may be required to work on holidays, including weekends. Department Resets:
Participate in installations and tasks such as building and installing fixtures, relocating cards and products, and resetting card sections. Notifications for remodels are typically two weeks in advance; assignments may require evenings or weekends. One Team Vision:
Work as part of Hallmark’s field network of merchandisers, often supporting other team members in their territories. Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding role. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You may be required to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders. Qualifications
18 years of age or older. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to operate a digital hand-held device to open/read documents and interpret information. Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet. Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled. Compensation & Schedule
Starting hourly pay rate: $16.50 - $18.50 depending on skills and experience. Paid training (live and virtual). Part-time employees have voluntary benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.). Average weekly hours: 9-10 hours per week. Variable schedule during the work week. Availability around major holidays is required. Additional Information
