We are seeking a skilled SQL Server DBA to manage, maintain, and optimize our database environments while supporting business intelligence and data integration initiatives. This role will be responsible for ensuring database performance, reliability, and security, as well as working with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS to support reporting and analytics needs.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance
Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching
Develop, deploy, and manage SSIS packages for ETL and data integration processes
Support and maintain SSRS reports and reporting infrastructure
Work with SSAS to support data models, cubes, and analytical solutions
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning improvements
Manage backups, restores, disaster recovery, and data integrity processes
Implement and maintain database security, access controls, and compliance standards
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data needs
Document database architecture, processes, and procedures
Qualifications
4+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA
Strong expertise in SQL Server database administration (backup/recovery, performance tuning, indexing)
Hands-on experience with SSIS (ETL development), SSRS (reporting), and SSAS (analytics/cubes)
Strong T-SQL skills and experience writing complex queries and stored procedures
Experience with high availability solutions (Always On, clustering, replication)
Solid understanding of database security and best practices
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
Experience with Azure SQL or cloud-based database solutions
Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools
Exposure to DevOps practices or automation scripting (PowerShell, etc.)
