Arts NC State
provides transformational arts engagement for all, across four compelling co-curricular and public-facing arts units: NC State LIVE, University Theatre, the Crafts Center, and the Gregg Museum of Art & Design. Open to the public and all students regardless of their program of study, Arts NC State fosters creativity, collaboration, and community-engaged arts experiences by producing performances, curating exhibitions, artist residencies, object-based collections research, offering classes, dialogues, workshops, studio memberships, stewardship of public art across campus, and arts festivals. Arts NC State co-creates transformative interdisciplinary arts integrated research in partnership with staff, faculty, and students across campus through leading edge research collectives.
Primary Purpose of Position: Responsibilities
Write, produce, and post high-quality, engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites and email marketing. Familiarity with Hootsuite, Meta Business, WordPress and Emma are preferred. Use data analytics for social media, web, email marketing, and ticketing tools to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Use tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to design marketing-related digital and print materials, including but not limited to digital signage, social media graphics, advertisements, flyers, postcards, banners, playbills, and other graphics as needed. Capture photos and video files, conduct basic editing of those files, and maintain an accessible photo and media library. Work with DASA MarComm and other photographers and videographers as needed. Work with external vendors and internal staff to produce, distribute and install printed materials, such as large-scale banners, posters, and other items. Support events as needed by working at information tables, helping with event setup/teardown, and other outreach and engagement efforts. Keep current on trends and policies, and recommend efficiencies and updates to initiatives as needed. Ensure NC State and the arts brand and editorial standards are met. Other duties as assigned.
