Role Summary

The Commercial Operations & Partnerships Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing GlobalFoundries’ Value‑Added Partnership (VAP) strategy. This role is responsible for leading cross‑functional initiatives, aligning stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Product Line, Operations, and Strategic Partnerships, and translating complex data into clear commercial actions. This is a high‑impact individual contributor role requiring strong influence, structured thinking, and the ability to guide teams toward shared commercial outcomes—without direct people management. Key Responsibilities

Cross‑Functional Leadership & Influence: Lead cross‑functional workstreams supporting GF’s Value‑Added Partnership ecosystem, driving alignment across Sales, Finance, Product Line, Operations, and IT.

Act as the single point of coordination for partnership performance discussions, ensuring clarity, accountability, and follow‑through.

Influence decision‑making by framing complex data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Commercial & Partnership Strategy: Own partnership performance analytics, including revenue contribution, margin impact, design‑ins, forecast accuracy, and funnel health.

Lead ROI and profitability assessments for partnership programs to inform investment, pricing, and incentive decisions.

Partner with Sales and Strategic Alliances to optimize partner engagement models, rebate structures, and value propositions.

Operational Enablement & Scalability: Define and standardize commercial operating rhythms, including dashboards, reporting cadences, and QBR materials.

Drive continuous improvement of commercial processes, identifying opportunities to automate reporting and improve data integrity.

Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering to enhance CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms supporting partnership operations.

Market & Ecosystem Insight: Analyze semiconductor ecosystem trends related to design services, EDA flows, IP partnerships, and enablement models.

Benchmark GF’s partnership performance against industry peers and identify opportunities for differentiation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry or adjacent high‑tech manufacturing environments.

Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional initiatives or programs without direct authority.

Strong analytical background with experience using Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI (Python a plus).

Deep understanding of the semiconductor value chain, foundry business models, and partner ecosystems.

Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior, non‑technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting commercial operations, strategic partnerships, or product line teams within a foundry, fabless, or IP organization.

Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and revenue‑planning tools.

Strong executive presence with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive alignment.

Proven ability to operate in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.

Expected Salary Range

$83,100.00 - $171,800.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
