Position Overview

Regional Student Ministry Director / Student Pastor Hickory, North Carolina The Regional Student Ministry Director provides visionary leadership, strategy, and oversight for student ministry (grades 6–12) across all campuses of Christ Church while personally leading the student ministry at the Main Campus. This leader will champion a unified, disciple-making strategy across locations, invest in campus leaders, and create environments where students are known, connected, and growing in their faith. This role requires both high-level leadership and hands-on ministry engagement. Key Responsibilities

Provide vision, strategy, and alignment for student ministry across all campuses ( currently 5 campuses) Develop and coach campus student leaders to ensure healthy, growing ministries Create scalable systems for programming, communication, volunteer development, and discipleship Ensure consistency in Biblical theology, teaching quality, and ministry philosophy across campuses Collaborate with central ministries for alignment Evaluate ministry effectiveness using data, feedback, and key metrics Main Campus Leadership (Student Pastor)

Lead all aspects of the 6th–12th grade ministry at the Main Campus Serve as the primary communicator and vision-caster for students and families Build a strong volunteer leadership culture through recruiting, training, and discipleship Create engaging weekly environments, small groups, and discipleship pathways Plan and execute key ministry moments (camps, retreats, mission trips, outreach events) Be present and relational in the lives of students both inside and outside the church and attend regularly the worship services at the Mt. View Campus. Leadership & Culture

Be a visible, approachable leader for students, parents, and volunteers Foster a culture of discipleship, belonging, and spiritual growth Equip volunteers to lead students in meaningful relationships and faith development Champion the mission of helping students take next steps in their faith Do “whatever it takes” (short of sin) to reach students for Jesus Christ. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (ministry or related field preferred) 5+ years of experience in student ministry or church leadership Proven track record of growing and leading healthy ministry environments Experience in multi-site ministry strongly preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to think strategically while executing at a high level Self-starter who thrives in a team-based, fast-paced environment Theologically aligned with Wesleyan Evangelical beliefs What We Are Looking For
