About the Role We’re looking for a Head of Commercial Insights to join our Customer & Market Intelligence organization in support of the Albertsons Media Collective (AMC). In this role, you will help shape how customer, market, and performance insights are translated into commercial strategy and partner engagement, enabling stronger, more insight led growth conversations. This role is designed to connect enterprise insight assets to commercial decision-making, partnering closely with AMC leaders and cross functional teams to ensure insights are relevant, actionable, and aligned to business priorities. Reporting to the VP of Customer & Market Intelligence, this position plays a critical role in elevating how insights inform gotomarket planning and execution, while helping establish scalable ways of working across teams.

Main responsibilities: Serve as a strategic partner to AMC stakeholders, helping translate customer and market insights into commercially relevant narratives that support business planning and partner discussions. Develop clear, concise insight outputs that inform growth opportunities, customer behavior, and market dynamics, tailored for executive and commercial audiences. Synthesize inputs from enterprise data, analytics, research, and external sources into a cohesive point of view that supports commercial decision-making. Contribute to the development of repeatable frameworks, tools, and processes that improve the consistency and usability of insights across the organization. Collaborate cross functionally to ensure insights are aligned with business priorities and embedded into planning rhythms, rather than operating as one off deliverables. Support the evolution of commercial insight capabilities by helping define scope, operating norms, and success measures as the function matures. Stay connected to industry and retail trends to anticipate shifts that may impact customers, partners, and commercial strategy. We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, marketing, economics, statistics, or related field (advanced degree a plus). 10 years plus of progressive experience across commercial insights, analytics, strategy, or related disciplines within retail, CPG, media, or adjacent industries. Proven ability to connect customer and market insights to commercial outcomes. Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear, fact based storytelling. Experience operating effectively in ambiguity and helping define new capabilities or ways of working. Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, and communication skills. Advanced MS Office skills; experience with Power BI or analytics platforms a plus.
