Position Overview The Asset Protection Coordinator supports Range USA’s Asset Protection mission to deliver proactive security, compliance, and intelligence-driven risk strategies that protect people and profitability while ensuring customers feel safe throughout their firearm journey. This is a complex, high-impact role that spans investigations, security system oversight, operational data analysis, and compliance initiatives across a growing, multi-location retail environment.
Job Description Asset Protection Coordinator
Support the execution of the Asset Protection strategy
Conduct incident reviews and exception reporting to identify potential loss, policy violations, or operational risks
Initiate and support internal investigations by gathering evidence, reviewing surveillance footage, and maintaining proper documentation
Fulfill law enforcement and internal requests for video, documentation, and investigative information
Monitor and maintain critical Asset Protection systems including intrusion alarms, access control, surveillance systems, and central station monitoring
Track and analyze operational data such as cash variances, alarm activity, and inventory-related exceptions to identify trends and risks
Coordinate service, repairs, and enhancements for security and monitoring systems
Support serialized inventory control, regulatory requests, and compliance-related investigations when required
Maintain accurate records and reporting to support leadership visibility into asset protection trends, incidents, and program performance
Partner with store leadership and cross-functional teams to address security concerns, strengthen controls, and improve operational compliance
Assist in developing proactive risk mitigation strategies that support a safe environment for associates and customers

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study
5 years or more of related work experience, preferably in a retail setting

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This is an on-site job located at our Main Office in Cincinnati, OH.
Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
