Estimator - Commercial Roofing. Greenbrier, TN (Just north of Nashville). JRC, Inc. is a nationwide construction company headquartered in Greenbrier, Tennessee. Specializing in commercial roofing, siding, and exterior improvements, we're currently active in 48 states - and growing. We're looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team in-office at our corporate headquarters. What You'll Do
Prepare comprehensive and accurate bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Perform project take-offs from architectural and construction drawings. Generate timely cost estimates for both low-slope and steep-slope commercial roofing projects. Prepare submittals for contract projects and assist with change orders as needed. Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate opportunities and build clear scopes, budgets, and timelines. Transition awarded bids to the Production team to ensure a smooth project handoff and launch. Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to gather necessary information and ensure project requirements are met. Participate in pre-bid meetings and occasionally conduct site visits to support ongoing projects and enhance client relationships. What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing estimating experience Strong understanding of commercial and industrial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, shingles, etc.) Proficient in project take-offs and reading blueprints/specifications Experience with Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, and Bid Estimating Software Ability to prepare accurate project submittals and track change orders Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Valid driver's license in good standing What We Offer
