Position Summary The VP of Marketing will lead brand strategy, demand generation, lifecycle marketing, creative direction, and marketing technology, while building a more AI-enabled, data-driven, and personalized marketing engine. This is a strategic leadership role, with execution supported by internal teams and external partners. The role oversees a multi-million dollar marketing budget, manages a small corporate team and agency partners, and will scale the function as Solera grows.

Key Responsibilities

Brand, Experience & Creative

Lead national brand strategy and ensure consistent luxury positioning

Elevate creative standards across digital, print, and experiential channels

Guide storytelling, campaigns, and portfolio-wide initiatives

Demand Generation & Growth

Own digital demand generation across paid media, SEO, social, and emerging channels

Drive performance marketing to generate qualified inquiries, tours, and move-ins

Connect marketing investment to occupancy and revenue outcomes

Experience & Leadership

10+ years of marketing leadership experience

Proven ability to lead both brand strategy and demand generation

Experience in multi-location or portfolio-based businesses

Demonstrated success integrating AI into everyday marketing workflows

Strong fluency in CRM, lifecycle marketing, automation, and analytics

Track record of building and scaling marketing teams

Marketing Technology, Personalization & AI

Lead CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools

Apply AI in daily workflows (content, campaigns, segmentation, analytics, creative)

Improve personalization, speed, and marketing efficiency

Build an AI-fluent marketing organization

Portfolio & Market Strategy

Develop market-specific strategies across diverse geographies

Support new developments, lease-ups, and repositioning efforts

Balance brand consistency with local performance

Team & Vendor Leadership

Lead and develop the corporate marketing team

Manage agency and vendor partners to deliver measurable results

Scale the marketing function to support future growth

Budget & Investment Oversight

Manage and optimize a multi-million dollar marketing budget

Drive ROI across brand and demand initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate brings a combination of brand instinct, growth rigor, creative excellence, and technological fluency. They have experience building premium, emotionally resonant brands while delivering measurable business results. This person is both a strategic leader and a builder—comfortable shaping vision while driving execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Senior living experience is not required.

Experience from premium hospitality, wellness, longevity, consumer subscription, or other high-growth consumer brands

Success in digitally sophisticated, multi-location service businesses

Strong storytelling and brand instincts paired with data-driven decision making

Practical fluency in AI and emerging technologies

A collaborative, high-accountability leadership style

The ability to build, refine, and scale marketing capabilities as the business grows

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required

10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership responsibility

Proven success developing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes

Strong understanding of digital channels, CRM/marketing technology, analytics, and campaign performance reporting

Ability to operate strategically while also staying close to execution

Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% based on business needs and growth initiatives

Compensation Base salary:

$175,000–$195,000 Bonus:

20–30% target bonus opportunity

Location:

Fully Remote, with travel as needed (approximately 20–30%, depending on business needs and growth initiatives)
