Digital Marketing Specialist - Email

Objective

The Digital Marketing Specialist – Email owns the execution, optimization, and performance of email marketing campaigns and automated journeys. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this hands-on role is accountable for driving engagement, lead generation, and measurable business outcomes through email marketing. This position ensures campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and optimized for results.

Key Responsibilities

Own the execution of all email campaigns, including build, segmentation, automation, testing, and deployment

Monitor email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, engagement) and take action to improve results

Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, personalization, and automated workflows to maximize engagement and business impact

Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to translate business priorities and campaign strategies into tactical, actionable campaigns

Recommend improvements to campaign content, structure, and targeting based on data and insights

Ensure all campaigns adhere to brand, compliance (CAN-SPAM/GDPR), and technical standards

Document and maintain campaign workflows, best practices, and SOPs for repeatable success

Provide regular reporting on email performance and identify opportunities for optimization

Track and maintain subscriber lists, segmentation logic, and deliverability health

Serve as the primary driver of the email channel while collaborating with cross-functional teams (Brand, RevOps, Digital, Sales) for campaign alignment

Educate stakeholders on email capabilities, automation options, and technical feasibility

Participate in campaign planning meetings and contribute insights for performance improvement

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred

2-5 years of email or digital marketing experience

Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms strongly preferred

Understanding of email best practices, deliverability, and compliance requirements

Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email editing and troubleshooting

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
