Role Objective The Aviation Parts Sales Manager is responsible for leading and growing the sales of aircraft parts, components, and services. This role develops and executes sales strategies, manages client relationships, drives revenue growth, and ensures customer satisfaction in alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the aviation industry, especially aftermarket parts, and demonstrate proven sales leadership.

Essential Job Tasks

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Manage a portfolio of key accounts and build strong, long-term client relationships.

Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, pricing, and industry trends.

Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and support.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients and vendors.

Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations.

Maintain CRM records, generate sales reports, and forecast performance.

Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.

Train, mentor, and oversee junior sales staff if applicable.

Direct Reports

This position may oversee one or more Inside Sales Representatives, depending on team structure and company size.

Office-based environment with occasional visits to warehouses or airport facilities.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds (e.g., sample parts or equipment).

Ability to travel by air and ground transportation for client meetings and trade shows.

Travel

Travel may be required, including domestic and occasional international trips for client visits, trade shows, and industry events.

Required Education/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the aviation or aerospace industry.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience with aircraft parts sales, MRO support, or OEM relationships preferred.
