Seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Division Broking Leader to take the lead in overseeing broking operations within the Commercial Lines division. In this pivotal role, this position leverages expertise in broking and team leadership to cultivate strong client relationships, drive the development of tailored risk management solutions, and mentor a high-performing team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who excels in fostering collaboration, innovation, and client-focused service delivery. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Commercial Lines Broking team, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with business goals. Oversee placement strategies and design customized insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of clients. Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters to deliver superior customer service and proactive risk management strategies. Monitor market trends, emerging risks, and opportunities, advising clients on evolving coverage options and strategic recommendations. Collaborate cross-functionally with other divisions and stakeholders to deliver fully-integrated service and solutions. Mentor, coach, and develop team members to foster professional growth and ensure a high level of performance. Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Prepare and present client proposals, as well as perform regular reviews to assess the effectiveness of coverages and address any gaps. Track team performance metrics and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and results. Qualifications/Requirements
Proven track record in a broking and/or commercial lines insurance leadership role, with 7+ years of relevant experience. Extensive knowledge of insurance markets, products, risk management strategies, and underwriting processes. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Strong client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions and world-class service. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. Robust analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities. Proficient in using technology to streamline workflows and analyze relevant data. Experience with broking platforms will be advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered). Professional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) are strongly preferred. What Is Offered
