Processing Specialist
to join its Mesa, Arizona headquarters. This organization partners with municipalities, law enforcement agencies, tolling authorities, and commercial fleet companies to provide technology-enabled solutions that help communities move safely and efficiently.
This role supports high-volume tolling and violation processing for rental and fleet clients and requires strong attention to detail, quality control, and time management skills.
Position Overview The Processing Specialist is responsible for handling tolls and violations, completing payments through online platforms, researching discrepancies, and ensuring accurate resolution of transactions. This role reports to the Transactional Supervisor and operates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Sort, research, and process various paper notices including court notices, warrants, bankruptcies, returned checks, and related documents
Research tolls and violations in internal systems to determine appropriate resolution (payment, dispute, liability transfer, refund, etc.)
Complete online payment processing accurately and timely
Review and audit processes, providing clear and professional feedback to team members
Maintain process documentation and tracking logs
Communicate clearly with internal teams and external clients
Assist leadership with special projects as needed
Escalate issues appropriately when resolution is required
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior office or administrative experience (mail processing, auditing, data entry, quality control, or similar)
Strong PC skills including basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to operate office equipment (computer, scanner, copier, mail opening machine)
Comfortable navigating internet-based systems and multiple screens
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail with a strong quality focus
Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
