THE ROLE:
We’re seeking a sharp, strategic B2B Copywriter ready to act as the Chief Editor across our content marketing ecosystem. You’ll craft and shape compelling narratives that cut through the noise—and help elevate IGEL’s voice as a global thought leader in secure end-user computing.
Responsibilities
Write and edit a wide range of B2B content, including:
Blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, case studies, ghostwritten executive content, landing pages, email sequences, and website copy
Press releases, media statements, and analyst-facing materials that reinforce strategic positioning
Serve as Chief Editor, owning IGEL’s editorial standards, tone of voice, and copy quality across all formats
Refine and elevate content that other writers and contributors developed, ensuring brand alignment and excellence
Craft narratives that bring complex topics such as Zero Trust, VDI/DaaS, and secure endpoint management to life
Shape and evolve IGEL’s content architecture and messaging framework across the customer journey
Translate technical value into compelling stories for multiple audiences—including CIOs, security leaders, and IT practitioners
Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Field Marketing, and Sales Enablement to align content with GTM priorities
Partner with Channel and Partner Marketing to co-create joint stories, campaigns, and co-branded assets.
Contribute to field programs by scripting customer wins, packaging speaker content, and supporting sales motions with tailored messaging
Drive best practices in SEO, performance analytics, and web-based storytelling
Collaborate with designers to enhance narrative delivery through visual storytelling (PowerPoint, Canva, etc.)
Maintain and manage the content calendar, ensuring a healthy, strategic pipeline of impactful work
Experience and Qualifications
3–5 years of B2B copywriting and content leadership experience in a software or technology company
Experience acting as both a content creator and an editorial leader with a deep sense of voice and tone
Background in journalism, PR, or editorial publishing—strong interviewing and story development skills
Familiarity with buyer personas and journey-based messaging in complex enterprise sales cycles
Proven ability to simplify technical and abstract concepts into human-first storytelling
Hands-on experience with SEO tools and content platforms like BrightEdge, Semrush, Clearscope, Asana, HubSpot, or WordPress
Knowledge of EUC, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or Zero Trust security (a plus)
Ability to manage projects end-to-end—from idea to execution—with minimal oversight
