Senior Account Executive
who loves opening doors, solving real-world problems, and turning operational challenges into pilots and long-term deployments. The role: Senior Account Executive (New Logo + Strategic Expansion) You’ll lead new business sales and expansion in sectors where wildlife risk creates real operational and safety challenges – including airports, rail, transportation infrastructure, agriculture, utilities, and conservation agencies. This role combines
new logo acquisition and strategic account growth . You’ll open new opportunities, win pilots, and stay engaged with customers to expand successful deployments. Flox Intelligence sales isn’t “sell a SaaS seat and move on.” Deals involve real environments, real animals, and real operational constraints. Winning requires understanding how customers operate, what their challenges are, and designing strategic pilots that will yield measurable outcomes. What you’ll do 1) CEO of your book of business Own relationships from first conversation through pilot and expansion. Build trust with operational leaders and run your accounts like a business inside Flox. 2) Drive new business and expansion Identify and pursue high-probability accounts across priority sectors. Generate opportunities through outreach, networking, and industry engagement. 3) Run the full sales cycle Lead discovery, demos, proposals, procurement navigation, negotiation, and close. Work across multiple stakeholders including operations, safety, environmental teams, and procurement. 4) Design pilots that convert Help define pilot scope, deployment locations, timelines, and success metrics that position customers for long-term adoption. 5) Represent Flox Intelligence in the field Build credibility through clear communication and storytelling in customer meetings, demos, and industry events. This role is likely a great fit if: You enjoy building something new – opening markets, figuring out messaging, and helping shape how a company sells. You’re comfortable selling solutions that involve real-world operations, multiple stakeholders, and pilots before full deployment. You like spending time with customers, understanding how they actually work, and designing solutions that solve real problems. You take ownership – when you see an opportunity, you pursue it rather than waiting for direction. You’re energized by startup life – dynamic environments, evolving playbooks, and figuring things out as you go. You likely have: 5+ years of closing experience in B2B sales (ideally enterprise/mid-market) A strong track record of winning new business in regulated or operational environments (bonus points for airports, transportation, infrastructure, energy, Gov/municipal, security, or industrial tech) Comfort selling complex solutions with multi-stakeholder engagement Ability to run a structured sales process: Qualification, methodology (MEDDICC or similar), clear next steps, mutual action plans Excellent communication: Clear, concise, high-trust Requirements Based in the greater Syracuse/Central NY area and authorized to work in the US Willingness to travel for customer meetings, demos, and events Valid driver’s license Comfortable with hybrid work – the team moves quickly and collaborates closely, so we typically work together in our Syracuse office 3 – 5 days/week Base salary: $75,000-$85,000
