Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent based in Banner Elk, NC. The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will manage daily operations related to golf course maintenance, including turf management, irrigation systems, and landscape upkeep. The role requires ensuring optimal playing conditions, supervising maintenance crews, applying pesticides when necessary, and collaborating with the Golf Course Superintendent to implement best practices and improvements for turf health and aesthetics. Qualifications
Expertise in Turf Management and Golf Course Management Proficiency in Irrigation systems and maintenance Experience in Landscape Maintenance and groundskeeping Knowledge of proper Pesticide application and safety protocols Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team Excellent organizational and communication abilities Relevant certifications, such as a pesticide applicator's license, are an advantage Degree or Certificate from an accredited Turfgrass, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field preferred
