Overview

Sales Coordinator – Apparel Wholesale

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Sales Coordinator to support our Sales Management team within a fast-paced apparel wholesale environment. This role is integral to the effective execution of sales operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all stages of the order lifecycle. The Sales Coordinator will serve as a key operational partner, responsible for managing high volumes of complex data while maintaining strict attention to detail. This position requires a high level of accountability, strong organizational discipline, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple internal functions.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately process and manage sales orders from initial entry through final fulfillment, ensuring all details—including pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines—are correct and aligned with customer requirements

Monitor and track orders throughout production, shipping, invoicing, and delivery to ensure timely and accurate execution

Maintain, validate, and reconcile order data across internal systems, sales platforms, and customer documentation

Serve as a primary point of coordination between Sales Management and cross-functional teams, including Production, Shipping, Finance, and Customer Service

Prepare and distribute sales reports, order summaries, and forecasting data to support Sales leadership

Identify and resolve discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential risks in orders or timelines in a proactive and timely manner

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to customer accounts, product styles, pricing agreements, and seasonal programs

Support sales meetings, line reviews, and key account presentations by preparing accurate and organized materials

Ensure adherence to internal procedures as well as customer-specific compliance requirements

Coordinate the preparation and shipment of garment samples for customer presentations, photoshoots, and internal needs

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Prior experience supporting sales teams within wholesale, apparel, or consumer goods industries

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High level of accountability, reliability, and follow-through

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or order management systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent)

Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in apparel or fashion wholesale environments

Familiarity with seasonal sales cycles, production schedules, and delivery timelines

Experience supporting senior sales leadership or managing key accounts

Working knowledge of retail math
