
Inside Sales Specialist - Manufacturing

The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and identifying leads through a variety of sources. Once leads identified, this candidate will reach out and meet with the business' decisions makers to better understand their business needs and how our product could help them.
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new customers
Prospect new customers through lead generation, trade shows, follow-up, and cold calling
Identify the correct decision makers within a given business
Document all pertinent customer information and conversations into CRM system
Maintain customer relationships including responding to customer questions.
Coordinate with and support outside sales representatives.
Create, input, and modify orders accurately within MRP system.
Check on the status of customer orders in production and communicate order status with customers.
Assist in arranging for couriers and trucks for various transportation requirements and deliveries.
Provide certificates and logistic information requested in a timely manner.
Field phone calls, provide pricing and assistance to customers, direct phone calls to the applicable party.
Coordinate with planning to assure optimum lead time.
Maintain effective communications between production and sales.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2+ years' experience
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Attention to detail is a must.
Exercise excellent time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
Excel, Word, Windows, iOS, document management software, ERP software.
Strong analytical ability, math abilities, and detail oriented.
Ability to multi-task and quickly change pace in a dynamic environment.
Team player & motivational skills required.
Desire for future advancement
Preferred Bachelor of Science Degree in Business related field
At a minimum, High School or equivalent
Preferred steel manufacturing experience and 1+ years of experience in customer service.
