The Sr. Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving and maintaining a cohesive, high-impact visual brand presence across all digital, print, and physical touchpoints. This role ensures that complex power generation technologies are communicated with clarity, precision, and confidence—translating engineering-driven innovation into compelling visual storytelling for customers, investors, and employees.
Serving as a hands‑on marketing and design leader, the Sr. Marketing Specialist partners cross‑functionally with leadership, engineering, investor relations, and internal teams to produce polished, consistent, and strategically aligned brand assets. From website and social media content to executive presentations, event displays, and internal communications, this role shapes how Hyliion’s technology, culture, and vision are understood and experienced.
The position plays a critical role in strengthening brand awareness, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and supporting business growth by combining strong graphic design expertise, marketing strategy execution, and emerging technology tools to deliver impactful, results‑driven creative solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Website & Digital Platforms
Design and maintain content for Hyliion.com, including new pages, updates, and ongoing visual upkeep.
Support the Investor Relations website, creating and updating graphics and documents.
Design and maintain content for the Hyliion intranet, including:
Create new pages as needed
Internal news and announcements
General visual upkeep and manual updates
Marketing & Campaign Management
Create marketing collateral such as:
Product brochures and sales materials
Branded PowerPoint and Word templates
Design executive‑level presentations for internal and external use.
Support internal communications
Social Media
Support and execute creative social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and other platforms
Bring a keen eye for creative ideas — trends, visual storytelling, engaging content formats
Support monitoring engagement, analyze metrics, and iterate on strategy
Office, Event & Display Design
Design custom signage for offices and events.
Create display graphics, wall plaques, banners, and large‑format visuals.
Design SWAG and promotional merchandise.
Photo & Video Support
Perform photo editing and retouching.
Assist with video direction and visual framing.
Create video graphics, overlays, and supporting visual elements.
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, needed, or required for the business.

Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Graphics Design or Visual Communications
3–5 years of professional marketing experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating digital and print design expertise
Experience creating and maintaining branded PowerPoint and Word templates
Proven experience developing and executing social media campaigns, with demonstrated success in growing engagement and driving brand awareness
Experience in technology, industrial, or energy‑related industries preferred
UI/UX or product interface design experience preferred
Motion graphics experience preferred
Experience with large‑format and event design preferred
Familiarity with investor or executive communications preferred
Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Solid understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
Tech‑savvy with the ability to leverage emerging technology tools (including AI)
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight
Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
Role Classification and Working Conditions
This is a salaried, exempt‑level position. This position typically works in an office environment; and given the nature of our business is also exposed to operations/warehouses/production environments.
