Detroit, Michigan, United States Job Description: Role focuses on developing product and disease state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals, creating local strategic and tactical plans, and managing budgets within the assigned territory. The role requires building and sharing local insights with internal stakeholders and collaborating with Neuroscience Sales Specialists to achieve common objectives. Responsibilities include building a local business plan, capitalizing on formulary opportunities, and ensuring timely administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, samples, and expenses. The role also involves training, compliance with company policies, and adapting to changing environments such as telemedicine and virtual care. Responsibilities

Following compliance guidelines, drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on health care professional offices and mental health community centers, in-person and virtually. Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives. Tailor discussions and interactions to customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner. Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share information with relevant internal stakeholders. Provide input into resource allocation and identify programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, or system. Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager and stakeholders to develop a local business plan that achieves business objectives; leverage formulary approvals and other opportunities through strategic plan execution. Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on goals and share best practices. Ensure timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, synchronization, samples, and expense reporting. Inform and build a business plan based on customer needs, resources, and products. Complete all company and job-related training within required timelines. Adhere to company policies; understand that duties may change with or without notice. Qualifications

A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, B2B sales, or recently transitioned from active-duty military. 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred. Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Strong desire to improve patients’ lives; patient-centric mindset. High integrity; compliance with company policies and procedures. Self-motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to evolving environments (e.g., Covid-19, telemedicine). Analytical ability to assess progress against objectives and diagnose performance issues. Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences. Ability to work outside normal hours; some travel, including overnight; may include travel to corporate headquarters for training.
