Responsibilities
Own AWS service(s) and drive business revenue by identifying customer needs and matching them to AWS solutions, with a focus on Enterprise Applications such as Microsoft, VMware, and SAP.
Pursue, create, and develop opportunities by engaging with prospective and existing AWS customers.
Identify high-value opportunities within specific accounts; engage with customers, partners, and account teams to drive service adoption and customer success.
Own the full-cycle sales engagement plan with prospective customers and act as a trusted advisor to help close deals and ensure retention.
Respond to qualified lead opportunities generated via field engagement activities.
Maintain operating knowledge of the AWS service catalog aligned to domain specialty and stay informed on service changes and cross-functional areas to build strong customer relationships.
About the team The Amazon Global Sales organization Migration Workloads team focuses on Microsoft-based and VMware workloads running on AWS. You will work with strategic customers and their account teams to qualify and pursue sales opportunities for infrastructure modernization workloads and datacenter migration projects, engaging with segment sales, solutions architects, partners, and professional services to drive complex opportunities to closure. Opportunities may include migrating SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, VMware, and SAP applications to the AWS cloud. Quota accountability and driving platform adoption within global accounts are part of the role, along with creating public references.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications
7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
5+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience.
Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business.
Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.
Experience working in the Automotive and/or Manufacturing industry in a sales, business development, or partner capacity.
